What this costs elsewhere
Rentals that offer roadside assistance at all sell it as an add-on, typically ฿1,000 a day. On a 14-day ride that is ฿14,000 before you have turned a wheel. We put it on every rental, every bike, every day — the price on the bike page is the whole price.
We call it the Swap Guarantee. Roadside assistance is what it does.
What happens when the bike stops
You message, we move. This is the whole procedure, start to finish.

Send your location and a photo or a short video of the problem. You reach the same people you booked with, and we usually know what is wrong before the call ends.

Small fault: a mechanic comes to you
A failed regulator, a worn clutch cable, a loose connector — we find a workshop near you, brief them on the bike and pay the bill. You carry on the same day.

Big fault: a replacement bike comes to you
If it cannot be fixed where you stand, we ship a replacement — same class or better — to wherever you are and take the broken bike home. Your trip continues. The repair is our problem.

What is covered — and what is not
Straight terms, written down before you ride, like everything else on this site.
Covered, free
- Any mechanical or electrical failure caused by the condition of the motorcycle: engine, gearbox and clutch, charging and electrics, cooling, brakes, chain and sprockets.
- The call-out and the mechanic's bill for a roadside repair.
- The replacement motorcycle, its delivery to you and the collection of the broken one.
- Anywhere in Thailand, every day of your rental.
Not covered
- Damage from a crash, a drop or any accident — that is what insurance is for.
- Faults caused by the rider: wrong fuel, taking a road bike off-road, ignoring a warning light, riding on after a fault appears.
- Tyres and punctures.
- The battery.
- Lost or damaged keys.
If it turns out the fault was on your side, the help still comes — we just invoice the transport and the repair afterwards. Either way, you are never left at the roadside.
How insurance and the deposit workWhy we can promise this
Our own workshop
Every bike gets a full service after every rider — Valvoline oil every 5,000 km, metallic brake pads, Pirelli and CST tyres. A bike that is looked after rarely needs the guarantee. That is the point.
A fleet with spares in it
40+ motorcycles means there is always one of your class, or the class above, ready to go out. A rental with six bikes cannot make this promise. We can.
Our own transport network
Our own team and the carriers we have worked with for years move bikes between Phuket, Bangkok and Chiang Mai all the time. Moving a bike across Thailand is routine for us, not an emergency.

Questions riders ask
What counts as a mechanical failure?
Anything that stops the bike working because of its own condition rather than something that happened to it: engine, gearbox, clutch, electrics, charging, cooling, brakes, chain. If you are not sure, send us a video — we will tell you honestly which side of the line it falls on.
I have a puncture. Does the guarantee cover it?
No — tyres, like the battery and the keys, are on the rider. Call us anyway: we will tell you where the nearest tyre shop is and what a fair price looks like.
Does it cost anything at all?
Not when the fault is the bike's. No daily fee, no call-out charge, no excess. If the fault was caused by the rider, the help still comes and we invoice the transport and the repair afterwards.
Does it work outside Phuket?
Yes — everywhere in Thailand. For a replacement bike count on the same day around Phuket, the next day in Bangkok and two days in Chiang Mai; a local mechanic is usually with you much sooner.
What about Laos, Cambodia or Malaysia?
The guarantee covers Thailand. Across the border we still pick up the phone and help you find a workshop, but the paid mechanic and the replacement bike stop at the Thai border.
Do I need to buy insurance to get this?
No. Roadside assistance is included on every rental, with or without bike cover. Insurance covers accidents and damage; the guarantee covers the bike failing on its own. They do different jobs.
Why do other rentals charge for this?
Because they do not own a workshop, a spare fleet or a transport network, so every breakdown costs them a third party. We own all three — which is why we can put it in the price instead of on top of it.
