Phuket to Krabi by Motorcycle — Complete Guide

The ride from Phuket to Krabi is one of the most scenic motorcycle routes in southern Thailand. At roughly 170km, it's a comfortable day ride with plenty of stops along the way. ## The Route Cross the Sarasin Bridge heading north, then follow Route 4 east toward Phang Nga. From Phang Nga, continue on Route 4 south toward Krabi Town. The entire ride takes about 3-4 hours without stops. ## Best Stops Along the Way **Phang Nga Bay viewpoint** — Stop at the viewpoint near Phang Nga Town for incredible views of the limestone karsts rising from the sea. **Sa Nang Manora Waterfall** — A beautiful jungle waterfall just off the main road. Great for a swim and cooling off. **Tiger Cave Temple (Krabi)** — If you're up for 1,237 steps, the view from the top is worth every drop of sweat. ## What You Need Make sure your rental agreement allows travel outside Phuket (ours does for 300cc+ bikes). Bring water, sunscreen, and rain gear if riding during monsoon season (June-October).
